Automatic Gates

For the ultimate control of the perimeter of your site automatic gates should be considered over the rising arm barrier. Electronically controlled operators are available which can open and close gates weighing well over a tonne.

Steel gates designed in the palisade style, i.e. with no horizontal bars present quite a challenge to a would-be intruder.

Allen & Feldhaus Security installs FAAC operators which have an excellent pedigree and are used all over the world. An Italian company, FAAC have a UK warehouse with their whole range of products available off-the-shelf and an enviable technical service support available to their installers.

Automatic gates can be operated by many different control systems, including:

• Intercom
• pass card or proximity device
• fingerprint reader
• number plate recognition
• automatically detecting the vehicle (ground loop)

The electromechanical nature of an automatic gate installation means that routine maintenance should be carried out. To this end, we offer simple maintenance contracts for our customers in the southern Home Counties. We normally suggest two planned preventative maintenance visits to minimise the chance of failure.

A fully comprehensive maintenance contract is also available so that you can budget for the servicing of the gates with one annual charge.
